KATHIE WALTERS AND THE "GET ZAPPED AND GO IN CHARIOTS" TRIP

I have previously had occasion to write about the seriously deluded false prophetess Kathie Walters, in connection with The "Wild Goose" Satanic Anointing Deception - Today's "Celtic Christianity" Rebirth and the Emerging Church. Please see:

This month (6th. - 20th. October) Kathie Walters undertook a tour of England and Wales, with a party of American trippers - I use the term in both senses of the word! - at the giveaway price of a paltry $3,990! Ms. Walters, who apparently enjoys a quite unique relationship with the Lord, as we shall see, advertised the trip with the following blurb:

"This is a life changing trip. It is not primarily a ministry trip or a mission trip - it's for YOU, to chill out, relax and have some fun. But I promise God will show up and you will never be the same. You will get zapped and go in chariots and get delivered and set free! We stay in 5 star hotels, go to Welsh revival places (Wales is called the Land of revival) go shopping, have cream teas, go sightseeing and visit the local pubs (where the people are). There is not another tour like this."

Wow! "Get zapped and go in chariots!" How irresistible is that! And as a break from cream teas and visiting the pubs, they would be taking the zapping and charioteering to lucky old Cwmbran, where, as we well know, in local "Christian" circles ANYTHING goes!

Note well. When the self-appointed seer talks about chariot rides, she's not talking about some sort of re-enactment event at the Roman ruins just down the road at Caerleon. She's talking about rides in GOD's chariots, following an "impartation"  experience...

KATHY WALTERS AT FREEDOM CHURCH IN CWMBRAN

As the guests of Freedom Church, Walters & Co. were booked in for two days there, 11th. and 12th. October, for her to deliver a seminar entitled 'The Supernatural, Faith and Angels.' (Only 15 quid a head, inclusive of lunch and impartation!) Ms. Walters has a real "thing" about angels, as does Freedom Church as it happens, which boasts of itself:

"Freedom Church has an open Heaven and is packed full of angels."

Really? Trouble is, if Freedom Church is indeed packed with angels, they may just be of the FALLEN kind! Pastor Robert King's appalling lack of discernment is evidenced by his opening his church doors for a week-long Todd Bentley extravaganza in December 2011, and he was even to have had him back there in 2012 if the Home Office hadn't had infinitely more sense than Mr.King and banned him from re-entering the UK!

If one might be tempted to excuse this deplorable neglect of his shepherding duty to protect the flock as a one-off aberration - and that would be quite an unjustified consideration given Bentley's planned return! - then such sympathies can be shown to be utterly misplaced by Robert King's hosting of Kathie Walters.

Ms. Walters is one of the dearly beloved names on 'The Elijah List,' Steve Shultz's mega-distributor of the kind of fables referred to in the Scripture from 2 Timothy which headed this article, and which multitudes somehow manage to unquestioningly accept as actually being God-given prophetic words and visions! 

I am reproducing here Kathie Walters' account of a vision/experience she supposedly had, as published in 'The Elijah List' on October 8th. 2007. If you can seriously believe that this was for real, and of God, then you might also seriously believe that Santa Claus really does fly through the sky on a sleigh delivering everyone's Christmas prezzies, and fairies really do live at the bottom of your garden and paint the flowers! And you might as well shelve your Bible now and read and believe in the works of Hans Christian Andersen instead! 


ONCE UPON A TIME...

The Golden Motorcycle and the Kiss of Light

One evening back in May, I was having a nice supper with fellow ministers. Just as a nice looking dinner was being served to us, I felt the anointing come upon me very strong. I couldn't speak, eat or move. I felt like I was frozen in the presence of God and immediately, I was taken up in the spirit.

My first thought was, "Oh great, I am going to go on a chariot ride." My second thought was, "Why does God wait to do this when I am at the supper table with a dozen other people AND a nice meal? Prior to dinner, I was just sitting in my hotel room for two hours; why didn't He do this then?" This was not a new thought as over the years, I have thought it many times! I jokingly say that a seer/prophetic anointing can be very inconvenient. He likes to interrupt our day!

A little later, we were all in a prayer meeting. I had a couple of visions, sat back and I told the Lord, "You know, Lord, you owe me a chariot ride." (I was thinking back to the episode at the dinner table earlier.)

All of a sudden, I had a shock because right in front of me was a golden motorcycle. On the side of the gas tank was a picture of an eagle. The motorcycle was vibrating as if the engine was running. The Lord Jesus laughed, and said, "Hop on." Now if you know me at all, you will know that I am definitely NOT a motorcycle person, but I leaped on the bike. The next moment, this golden motorcycle took off and did some loops, then I became aware that I was holding onto Jesus, as I had my arms around Him.

Then we began to skim across different islands--Jamaica, Solomon Islands, West Indies, Malta, Azores, Fiji, Hawaiian Islands, Caribbean Islands, Greek Islands, etc., and all kinds of islands. Jesus was happy and He was laughing. He said, "I am going to kiss the islands." This kiss was light, affectionate and joyful. We touched down in Fiji, and then I landed on my back somehow in Australia. I was then lying on the floor, laughing.

I want to start this article by quoting a (false) prophecy - specifically referencing Wales - by the (false) prophetess Kathie Walters, as published on the notorious 'Elijah List' website of Steve Shultz on 25th April 2014. (The 'Elijah List' has been well described by Sandy Simpson at the Apologetics Co-Ordination Team as "the biggest distributor of false prophecies in cyberspace!")
 

"A Strong "Wild Goose" Anointing Will Flow Between Canada, the USA, Wales, And The Rest Of The UK

I saw the anointing like the wild goose flow over Canada and down into the USA. Now, there are many wonderful ministries in Canada that are unknown, and relatively few ministries from there become well-known. There are people like Patricia King, and Todd Bentley, Stacey and Wesley Campbell, Charlie Robinson, Samuel Robinson, and others, but there are many more that are hidden inside Canada, and we don't hear about them.

But God is going to draw back the curtain and those ministries will be seen and they will follow the Wild Goose all over the world. They will carry the wild goose anointing. It will flow down into the USA, across the Niagara, and from Quebec and Vancouver. A strong Wild Goose anointing will flow between Canada and USA and Wales and the rest of the UK."

So what is this supposed "wild goose" anointing?

Ms. Walters describes its origin thus:

"It was said that the early Celtic Christians referred to the Holy Spirit as the "Wild Goose," or "An Geadh-Glas." In Gaelic that means "the goose-grey." It really can't be proved, but certainly in the 20th century the Holy Spirit was called the "Wild Goose" by Celtic groups."

Note: The "prophetess" actually admits that it cannot be proved that Celtic Christians called the Holy Spirit the "Wild Goose!" The fact of the matter is that there's not a shred of textual evidence in existence to back this claim up! In plain English, it is a mere myth, a FABLE! And what does the Word of God say about such things? 

"And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto

So what else does Ms. Walters have to say about this fable?



"The dove was considered a tame bird - but... the wild goose was adopted by the Celtic Christians, who had such a boldness anointing among them: Historically, if it meant anything to the Celtic peoples, it would have been a symbol of war-likeness. But the Wild Goose sermon of George Macleod caught people's imagination, and the image stuck. Most 'Celtic' Christians today have adopted the wild goose as their emblem..."

So who is the George Macleod referred to above?

 

George Macleod was a minister in the Church of Scotland, who in 1938 founded the Iona Community in Glasgow and the Isle of Iona, and popularized the concept of the Holy Spirit as the "Wild Goose" in a supposed rebirth of the Celtic Christian tradition of St. Columba. As seen above, the Iona Community uses the wild goose as its logo, and runs Wild Goose Publications as an important part of its mission.

It should be well noted that the Iona Community is absolutely dedicated to doctrine-diluting ecumenism, and also has peace and disarmament as a key objective, either in woeful ignorance or wilful rejection of Biblical warning that there will be NO peace until Jesus returns and rules as King of kings and Lord of lords!

"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."

AT THIS POINT, LET IT BE EMPHASIZED THAT THE ONE AND ONLY BIRD THAT HOLY WRIT ASSOCIATES WITH THE THIRD PERSON OF THE TRINITY IS THE DOVE. IN FACT, THE WORDS "GOOSE" AND "GEESE" ARE TOTALLY ABSENT FROM THE BIBLE! TO DESCRIBE THE HOLY SPIRIT AS A WILD GOOSE HAS NO SCRIPTURAL VALIDATION WHATSOEVER! IT IS AN ABSOLUTE INVENTION OF THE HUMAN IMAGINATION, AND IS EMPHATICALLY NOT A THING OF DIVINE INSPIRATION!

With the thoroughly UNBIBLICAL origin of the Wild Goose = Holy Spirit concept firmly in mind, we will now have an extremely eye-opening look at an annual event in the USA which rejoices in the name of:

The Wild Goose Festival

Its Wiki entry gives this crisp and very revealing synopsis:

"The Wild Goose Festival is a festival held annually in the United States focused on justice, spirituality, music and the arts. The festival is "rooted in the Christian tradition" and is popular among progressive Christians and many involved with the emerging church movement. The name Wild Goose comes from a Celtic metaphor for the Holy Spirit. The Wild Goose Festival is inspired by and modelled after the popular Greenbelt festival in the United Kingdom. It is the only Christian music festival in the U.S. that caters to "theological liberals."

The words I've highlighted in bold type should be screaming out a clear warning to anyone who loves the pure and uncompromised true Gospel of Jesus Christ!

The festival is much more than music. It has a whole raft of speakers, and the reality of the matter is that anything goes. And when I say anything goes, I really do mean ANYTHING! Take, for example:

The Carnival de Resistance



The organizers describe it thus:

"The Carnival de Resistance is an "art intervention" experiment, a rip in the veil, throwing off the yoke of social niceties, restless sanitation, and religious piety to provide a raucous expression of grief and longing and hope for Creation. The Carnival de Resistance is an arts carnival, a school, and a village demonstration project. Using symbols, song, theater, poetry, music & dance, the Carnival makes "church" happen under the Big Top, and then spills out shape-shifting-trickster style to engage with all using games, performance and interactive art projects."

OK. If that description hasn't done quite enough to convince you that this has nothing whatsoever to do with Christianity and everything to do with 'New Age' abominations, then just check out how each day of this "raucous expression" commences:

"Morning Meditations of Earth, Body & Soul

We will start our days at the Carnival with exercises and reflections to shake up and wake up your body, heart and mind. Come join our morning prayer times as we focus our Spirits through Qigong, poetry, sacred song and earth conscious meditations."

THIS IS ALL 'NEW AGE' PAGANISM, WITCHCRAFT, OCCULTISM, MYSTICISM AND THE "EMERGING CHURCH"... OF LUCIFER!

Deeply worrying is that they are targeting CHILDREN with this!

Healthy fun for the youngsters at this year's festival includes morning yoga sessions, story time with Emerging Church leader Doug Pagitt and "Christian atheist" (???) Frank Schaeffer, writing protest songs and "making mandalas as a spiritual practice!"

The Wild Goose Festival warmly embraces the wildest and the whackiest and the worst of  all that passes for 21st. century "Christianity!" Here it can be seen exactly how deranged and degenerate are the Emerging Church leaders like Brian McLaren and Doug Pagitt, who are prominent participants in this repugnant Hell-birthed extravaganza!

The Wild Goose and Witchcraft

The goose has long been associated with WITCHCRAFT, which sees it as representing feminine power. Most informative is this description found on the Museum of Witchcraft site:

"In the West Country witches make (Note use of present, not past tense!) use of geese in many ways when working at their craft, for to them geese are endowed with numerous magical qualities and have played an age-old part in the domestic mythology of the western counties. The origin of Mother Goose is almost certainly the Central European Goddess Holda. Night-flying wild geese were believed to be Holda and her spirit companions flying through the sky."

N.B. The "goddess" could take on the form of a goose. Does the "shape-shifting" reference in the Carnival de Resistance's description of itself become a little more meaningful now?

God... or goddess?

This Holda connection is really quite significant; it might perhaps be obvious to some, but also easily missed by others, so it's worth making the point here that a GOOSE is essentially FEMALE, as the MALE of the species is a GANDER! To call the Third Person of the Trinity a Wild GOOSE is to label Him FEMALE! This ties in completely with the occultic notion of the "sacred feminine," the "goddess," but utterly contradicts how the Creator describes HIMself! Oh, the great subtlety of Satanic deception...

Wild Welsh Women and the Wild Goose!

OK. Back to Wales now, to show that this Wild Goose chase is happening right here! Take this bulletin from Cardiff's 'Company of Burning Hearts' (COBH) announcing this "colourful feast of joy... to kick start 2014" as they billed it:

"This is going to be a really fun weekend for all you wild Goose chasers out there! Hosted by Jane Schroeder and Friends this is one that's definitely not a run of the mill event! Wild Welsh Women is a gathering to release the indigenous in the land and to gather those who love to drink from the deep wells of Spirit Life."

COBH is a group who I can simply best describe as D.D.T., that is to say Demonic Deception Traffickers! Their "Spirit Life" is a riotous party-time, with their masquerade guests being demons from the depths of Hell!

Latter Rain-fall over Wales

Returning to the supposedly God-given "prophetic word" of Kathie Walters, let's look for a moment at the essence of its content: an anointing starting in Canada flowing across the Atlantic to Wales and the rest of the UK. Are there any indications of such an anointing occurring? Well... only a bogus Satanic one...

Back in 1948 Canada gave birth to the Latter Rain movement, which was instrumental in laying down so very much of the false foundation of the apostasy-ridden Church that we see today. One of its notable far-reaching errors was the "restoration" of the Five-Fold ministry, a pyramid structure of Church control (I use the term 'control' advisedly) with "Apostles" at the top of the tree and "Prophets" as second-in-command. Interestingly, two of the key players in British Restorationism were Welshmen, the brothers Bryn and Keri Jones from Aberdare, who have had a profound influence on the movement throughout the UK from a base established in Bradford. Bryn is now deceased, but Keri retains "Apostolic" authority over the All Nations Church in Cardiff. Many churches in Wales - as elsewhere - now hold to a Restorationist ideology, which goes hand-in-glove with the grievous error of Dominionism (aka 'Kingdom Now') with its lying promise of a great global End-Times revival, and a Church triumphant over all ares of society.

Also noteworthy in this context is an American lady describing herself as being in the Five-Fold office of "Prophet," Mary 'Moriah' Burt, who runs 'Word and Spirit International Ministries' from her base on the North Wales coast. Apparently called 'Moriah' by God (Er... who says?) she is heavily influenced by the counterfeit Brownsville, Pensacola Outpouring, and by 'Signs & Wonders' merchant Bill Johnson's notorious Bethel Chuch in Redding, California.

Which brings me to the other massively influential movement to emerge from Canada: the so-called Toronto Blessing, which is in reality one of the worst delusions ever to have taken hold in the professing Church. This utterly false "anointing" is promoted big-time by great Bill Johnson aficionados New Wine Cymru, and is inseparable from the ecumenical Alpha Course deception. A recent most regrettable resurgence of this counterfeit spirit was to be found at the much-hyped "Welsh Outpouring" at Cwmbran, under the (mis)leadership of Richard Taylor and Andrew Parsons. Let us not forget, either, that the appalling Todd Bentley, who has held a week-long crusade in Wales - also in Cwmbran! - is a Canadian!

Conclusion

That which Canada has spiritually exported to Wales and the UK  is most definitely not of the HOLY Spirit, but of a most UNHOLY one! Of the Walters "prophecy," Steve Schultz commented: "It's about time you can go on a WILD GOOSE CHASE and it's a GOOD THING!"  Er... no, Steve, it's an exceedingly BAD thing! It leads to every kind of extra-Biblical excess that springs from the flesh, sensual and sinful, and is the broad road that leads only to destruction!

As noted in this article, the "Wild Goose" fable has been taken to heart by the Emerging/Emergent Church movement, spearheaded by notable apostates like Brian McLaren and Doug Pagitt.
