RICHARD TAYLOR - BREXIT CANDIDATE FOR BLAENAU GWENT.

"Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man,
and maketh flesh his arm,
and whose heart departeth from the LORD."
(Jeremiah 17:5)

I would normally very carefully avoid making public comment here on this blog about happenings in the political arena. Ordinarily I'd see such commentary to be quite outside my remit, a departure from what I am called to do in the way of earnest contention for the Faith once and for all time delivered. But there has to be an exception for every rule, does there not?

We who believe may be IN the world, but we are not OF the world. And politics are the world's way; always have been, and always will be. To cut to the chase, it is the nomination of one particular Welsh Brexit candidate in the forthcoming General Election that very unfortunately causes me to make this little piece my own blogging rule's exception.

I must emphasize - and want to be completely clear and understood on this point - that this is not about the Brexit Party's policies, or any other Party's for that matter. It is not in any way about 'Leave' or 'Remain' or any other presenting polling issues. It is completely and utterly solely to do with that single personality who is standing for Brexit in the Blaenau Gwent constituency, namely Richard Taylor.

This is a man who I've found it needful to write about time and again for his all-too-notable disservices to the Gospel, in fact ever since the very first article to appear on this site back in May, 2013. Richard Taylor was the egocentric, Rolex-flashing and Porsche-driving counterfeit revivalist who, after founding his own "church" in Cwmbran and parading as its Lead Pastor, presided over the carefully contrived and hyped so-called 'Welsh Outpouring' there in April, 2013.

(Please refer to the relevant articles in the 'Topics' column alongside)

A man thoroughly and disturbingly versed in the ways of deception, in both his public and his private life, Victory Church's integrity-devoid chief hireling actually came to be discharged from his duties by his Elim overseers for committing adultery. Though banned from the pulpit, his arrogant refusal to accept proper Church discipline was evidenced by him then taking up a Lead Pastorship position in Merthyr Tydfil, subsequently further showing his complete unsoundness by joining that church to the Word of Faith/Prosperity gospel 'New Beginnings' operation of Benny Hinn's friend Jonathan Miller in Florida, USA, becoming in turn their European Director. (Ironically, he doesn't seem so keen on Europe any more!)

For reasons best - and perhaps only - known to himself, Mr. Taylor then decided to re-invent himself as a political animal, in the process proving his apostate nature beyond all shadow of a doubt by jettisoning all reference to his supposed faith in Jesus and joining himself instead with superglue gel to the machinations of men.

I would like to think - and hope for his sake - that Mr. Taylor did once make a genuine decision for Christ, and that his Christian career, if I might call it that, was not all just a conman's convenient masquerade, just a cynical means to an end. Trouble is that all the evidence, everything about his long-time modus operandi, points only to him being an unprincipled...

chancer
/ˈtʃɑːnsə/
noun
INFORMALBRITISH
  1. a person who exploits any opportunity to further their own ends.

... with a chameleon's adapting skin, a manipulative man who loves the limelight and craves adulation, power and position, not to mention the material trappings of worldly "success." He has continually demonstrated that he considers himself to be something special, but as the Scriptures that he now so obviously shuns declare of such as he:

"For if a man thinks himself to be something,
when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself."
(Galatians 6:3)

Richard Taylor, being a self-deceived individual, has quite some history of in turn deceiving others! Will this, perhaps, sadly prove to include those on the Electoral Register of Blaenau Gwent? If, in the event they don't send him to Westminster as their political (mis)representative, what new mask will he next wear? What new persona will he then adopt? What new flag of convenience will the pirate ship then fly? Will it be any less a pirate ship for the colours on its mast? We can only hope and pray that he will not return to using God for gain and further besmirching the Gospel and betraying people's trust, in his endless quest for self-aggrandizement!

In laying down these few thoughts, the bottom line is my hope that people who'd thought that the 'Welsh Outpouring' was for real, in witnessing Mr. Taylor's latest launch of himself and this time in such a completely secular fashion, will come to carefully re-assess their positive opinion of that circus and its ringmaster. Let us all soberly remember what the Word has to say concerning "Christian" charlatans:

"While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption:
for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb,
The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed
to her wallowing in the mire."

RICHARD TAYLOR, BACK IN THE DRIVING SEAT OF COUNTERFEIT REVIVALISM AT 'NEW BEGINNINGS CHURCH' IN MERTHYR TYDFIL.

"But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse,
deceiving, and being deceived."
(2 Timothy 3:13)

INTRODUCTION

I never wanted to write about this man again. I really didn't. Nothing would have pleased me more than to put all the issues surrounding this ignominious individual firmly to bed, once and for all. And I would have done, if only he'd somehow found it in him to have the good grace and the integrity to keep away from the pulpit he so unashamedly and determinedly disgraced, rather than have the temerity to disgrace it all over again, deceiving and being deceived. But my hand has regrettably been forced by his re-emergence into the limelight; the big con is sadly still very much on, and a long dark shadow continues to be cast across the land. The pied piper is once again playing his seductive tune, and a clear warning has to be given.

AN IGNORED EXCLUSION FROM LEADERSHIP

There are three major temptations to overtake a Christian leader. (I use the term "Christian" loosely, to include those leaders masquerading as ministers of righteousness, whose "Jesus" is in reality "the lord of the fraud" as highlighted in my last article:
http://watchman4wales.blogspot.co.uk/2017/09/the-most-heinous-identity-theft-ever_10.html )

The three great temptations? Money/Materialism, Power/Control, and Sex - immoral sex to be exact. Some may fall at one hurdle, some at two, and some like Richard Taylor even fall at all three. And when all that occurs concurrent with that person heading up a church where he is supposedly appointed and anointed to lead an "outpouring" of the Holy Spirit, that "outpouring" clearly cannot have been the work of a holy God but only a product of fallen flesh. In a nutshell, the much-feted event presided over by Mr. Taylor that became known as the "Welsh Outpouring" was just an elaborately engineered exercise in soulish sensationalism, just another hyper-Charismatic engagement in Laodicean lunacy.

While Mr. Taylor was being trumpeted as being "the real deal," the awful reality behind the carefully-cultivated illusion was that he was about as genuine as a plastic Rolex or a politician's promise, and every bit as sound as a Bank of Toytown pound. While publicly he was boasting that he and fellow Cwmbran crow Andrew Parsons were going to head up the greatest revival that the world had ever seen, privately he was engaged in an extra-marital sexual relationship, for which adultery he was subsequently dismissed by Elim (to which his Victory Church was affiliated) and banned from the pulpit. End of the unhappy saga? Sadly, not so. Banned from one pulpit, he simply seeks another...

The refusal to accept due discipline is the hallmark of an arrogant and wayward, even anarchic spirit, not that of a genuinely repentant, God-fearing man. Scripturally, adultery debars a church leader from being in a place of leadership, not just for a few years as Elim decreed, but permanently. Most certainly a truly repentant pastor can be restored to fellowship, but never to such a position as he held formerly. It is troubling indeed that there has to be a serious question as to Mr. Taylor's real repentance, and thus qualification for return even to fellowship, for if he was truly penitent he would humbly accept that he cannot hold such an office of leadership again, not demonstrate a wilful determination to do exactly that which he has disqualified himself from doing.

"Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body;
but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you,
which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"
(1 Corinthians 6:18-19)

Significantly, Paul later elaborates upon this teaching, and in a personal context:

"But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection:
lest that by any means, when I have preached to others,
I myself should be a castaway."
(1 Corinthians 9:27)

In adultery, when a born-again believer who is indwelt by the Holy Spirit commits such an act, he not only sins against his own body, but he effectively makes God a part of that coupling also! The seriousness of such a thing cannot possibly be understated. God in His wonderful grace will still forgive, if forgiveness is honestly sought, but the stain on that person's character remains for the rest of his days. He has severed the holy three-fold marriage cord between a man, his wife and God, and brought reproach upon not only himself but the Church which he has thus betrayed. The pastor is Christ's representative. Would Christ be unfaithful to His bride? Unthinkable! When the shepherd strays, what of the sheep? Will they not see his bad example, and think such behaviour is acceptable, excusable and OK for them also, with the attitude of "what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander?" Grace manifested in forgiveness still applies, but not trust, for the adulterous pastor has demonstrated decisively that if he cannot be trusted to be faithful to his wife or his Saviour in earthly things, he cannot ever be safely trusted with the stewardship of the things of heaven.

This is Paul's meaning when he says that if he himself could not keep himself in check when sexual temptation came his way (as it undoubtedly did as a single man), then he would forfeit his calling to leadership by such indulgence. And we should note well that after the word "castaway" there is a full stop. And neither is there any following sentence speaking of restoration to his previous position after such a sin; his disqualification would be a permanent one. The top of the cliff, after falling to the rocks, never becomes part of the clifftop again but remains on the lower level. Significantly, the Greek word (adokimos) used here by Paul also means rejected or reprobate; it is only used once in all Scripture, never referenced again; once you become a castaway, a castaway you remain.

"What about forgiveness? Shouldn't we be eager to restore our fallen brethren?
To fellowship, yes. But not to leadership. It is not an act of love to return a disqualified man to public ministry, it is an act of disobedience."
(John MacArthur)

When the leadership of 'Heads of the Valleys Church' in Merthyr Tydfil installed Richard Taylor as their Senior Pastor recently, it was an act not of righteousness but of disobedience to God, for which they will be held accountable by Him. Les Bevan, their Lead Pastor, had been given that position by Richard Taylor himself, when that church was operating as a Victory Church "campus," being established by him as part of his "50/10" self-given vision to establish 50 such "campuses" across Wales in a decade, after Bethania chapel's existing congregation was forced to vacate the premises under what can only be described as extremely dubious circumstances. In his "you scratched-my-back-so-now-I'll-scratch-yours" action, Mr. Bevan has shown his approval and elevation of unrighteousness above righteousness, and loyalty to the tainted contrivances of Taylor rather than to the pure cause of Christ. He has made himself both complicit and culpable.

RICHARD TAYLOR AND FINIS DAKE

OK, you may well be saying, I know of Richard Taylor, but who's this Finis Dake, and what's the link between the two? The vital link is 'Dake's Annotated Reference Bible.'

Maybe you've heard of this tome, maybe you haven't; what's important to record here is that the DARB is the "pseudo-Bible" that Richard Taylor uses, confirmed by the man himself in his Tweet of 31/8/17, publishing a photo of it with the words, "It's travelled thousands of miles across oceans far and wide it's been my companion, it's old and falling apart but keeps me together." The significance of this is huge.

It's for very good reason that I use the expression "pseudo-Bible" in citing Mr. Taylor's constant companion, for Finis Dake's DARB actually dares to take God's Word (KJV) and alongside it annotate it in such a way as to present a false "Jesus" and a false gospel that cannot save. It is a work that has contributed enormously to formulating and underpinning the most grievous heresies of the Word of Faith movement, with Dake's heretical spin on God and the things of God being taken up with relish by the WoF wolf-pack.

As an example, consider if you will a few of Dake's notes on God the Father:

"He has a personal spirit body; shape; form; image and likeness of a man. He has bodily parts such as, back parts, heart, hands and fingers, mouth, lips and tongue, feet, eyes, ears, hair, head, face, arms, loins, and other bodily parts. He has bodily presence and goes from place to place in a body like all other persons. He has a voice; breath; and countenance. He wears clothes; eats; rests; dwells in a mansion and in a city located on a material planet called Heaven; sits on a throne; walks; rides; engages in other activities. He has a personal soul with feelings of grief; anger; repentance; jealousy; hate; love; pity; fellowship; pleasure and delight; and other soul passions like other beings."
(From Dake's notes on the Gospel of John)

Sound more than a little like Ken Copeland's "god" who's made in the image of man? In his comprehensive 1993 expose of the Word of Faith movement (of which the likes of Copeland is a central figure), Christianity in Crisis, Hank Hanegraaf in his overview of study Bibles declared that, "Perhaps the worst collection of false teachings is found in the popular Dake's Annotated Reference Bible... On the very first page of the New Testament, Dake writes that Jesus became the Christ or the 'Anointed One' 30 years after He was born of Mary."

Consider this concise appraisal of Dake's work and influence:

"It is amazing how influential one false teacher can be. For example, much of the aberrant theology of Hagin, Copeland, Hinn, et al. can be traced to one man, Finis Dake. His Dake's Annotated Reference Bible presents, among other errors, the idea that God the Father has a physical body similar to man's; that he eats, wears clothes and lives on a planet called Heaven; that Adam and Eve flew back and forth to the moon; that Christians will continue to have children throughout eternity; and even that there will be segregation between races in heaven. Who could believe such antibiblical nonsense? Multitudes. And they accept it from the notes in a "reference" Bible which sold 30,000 copies in 1992!"
(Dave Hunt, The Berean Call, 1994)

So much for his work. Let's take just a glimpse at the man himself. Finis Dake's notes on the New Testament were written while he was serving a prison sentence; and no, it was not through some action of upholding the Faith. It was consequent to him pleading guilty to an offence under the USA's Mann Act, which states:

"SEC. 4. That any person who shall knowingly persuade, induce, entice or coerce any woman or girl under the age of eighteen years from any State or Territory or the District of Columbia to any other State or Territory or the District of Columbia, with the purpose and intent to induce or coerce her, or that she shall be induced or coerced to engage in prostitution or debauchery, or any other immoral practice, and shall in furtherance of such purpose knowingly induce or cause her to go and to be carried or transported as a passenger in interstate commerce upon the line or route of any common carrier or carriers, shall be deemed guilty of a felony, and in conviction there of shall be punished by a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars, or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years, or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court."
(Text of the relevant section of the Mann Act)

Dake (a married man) had picked up a 16-year-old hitchhiker, then booking them into various hotels as 'Christian Anderson and wife' and obviously with sexual intent, as per the Mann Act quoted above. Hmmm... false "Christian" works, running in tandem with sexual immorality... are we getting any feelings of deja-vu here? Todd Bentley perhaps? Benny Hinn and Paula White? Or just maybe Richard Taylor? Time and again we find this ugly pattern repeating itself, of major spiritual departure going hand in hand with gross physical iniquity.

WITH RICHARD TAYLOR BEING A LONG-TIME ADHERENT OF DAKE, WHOSE PEN WAS PROMPTED NOT BY THE HOLY SPIRIT BUT BY THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST, IT BECOMES CLEARER JUST WHY HIS BRAND OF "CHRISTIANITY" IS SO FAR OFF THE MARK.

RICHARD TAYLOR, JONATHAN MILLER AND "THE HOLY GHOST BARTENDER"

Who is Jonathan Miller? Well, this is Richard Taylor's newest best buddy, the latest in a succession of dubious dear pals from across the Pond.

Mr. Miller is Senior Pastor (as is wife Cristina) of New Beginnings Church in Orlando, Florida, who Mr. Taylor has extremely enthusiastically hooked up with, becoming New Beginnings' European Director from 1 September, 2017. In line with this proud Stateside partnering, Bethania chapel/aka Victory Church Merthyr Campus/aka Heads of the Valleys Church has now been re-launched yet again, this time as New Beginnings Church, complete with all the Orlando outfit's trimmings. We might at this point also note that just as Mr. Miller's wife has been installed as Senior Pastor in Orlando, Mr. Taylor has also similarly installed his own wife Jill as Senior Pastor in Merthyr Tydfil. A Bible-believing Christian of course, knows full well that no woman is called to be a pastor, never mind a senior one, and such an appointment to a position of leadership and authority is in itself proof not of such a church's Biblical soundness but its open rebellion to God, which is as witchcraft. (Ref. 1 Samuel 15:23)

Mr. Miller, who partners with the WoF movement's Total Blasphemy Network, is a man who collects "strange fire" impartations like other people collect postage stamps. Benny Hinn, Oral Roberts, Reinhard Bonnke, Rod Parsley and Rex Humbard have each contributed to his collection; spiritual miscreants one and all, who he calls "Generals in the Faith!" It follows, unsurprisingly, that his new European Director also has a predilection for such things. Following his August trip to Bulgaria to preach to the poor / sun himself by the pool of his holiday hotel, he flew on to the Netherlands, in order to receive "ministry" from no less a person than "The Holy Ghost Bartender" himself, Rodney Howard-Browne, duly being served with a speciality-of-the-house "strange fire" top-up courtesy of "Joel's Bar."

BIRDS OF A FEATHER AND ALL THAT... OR SHALL WE JUST MAKE THAT VULTURES OF A FEATHER... ?

RICHARD TAYLOR AND "THE WELSH OUTPOURING"

In writing this article I personally get a real sense of deja-vu, for I started this blog back in May, 2013, writing on the very subject of Richard Taylor. The catalyst for me doing so was that it had become obvious to me, in investigating the back-story, that there were very serious questions to be asked about the authenticity of the so-called "Welsh Outpouring" which had broken out the previous month at his Victory Church in Cwmbran.

I wrote much about the "outpouring" to try and alert people to its counterfeit nature, and this material can be accessed by anyone so interested by clicking on the relevant entries in the Topics column on the right or the Labels found at the foot of this article. What I wish to do here is to reproduce, with the correspondent's full permission to do so, a comment that came in on my last article, which is a most sobering and revealing personal testimony:

"I know Richard Taylor well and do count him as a friend, however i was involved in the so called outpouring that took place in Cwmbran and was in fact there on the first night it all started. I quickly realised that not all was as it seemed and the many unbiblical practices that i saw confirmed it for me. I left the church shortly after the outpouring ended, disillusioned and questioning my faith. This is the danger of these type of events which are based on hype and hysteria with very little biblical foundation. I do fear that restoring Richard Taylor to senior leadership is not an act of love but more an act of disobedience on the part of the leaders at Merthyr. Paul the Apostle teaches plainly that a leader who falls into sin, namely sexual sin is disqualified from leadership not for 3, 5 years but for good. Restoration to the kingdom goes without saying but not to leadership.I fear that the event which is taking place at Merthyr in October will be nothing short of another invented "move of God" I stand firm in the Lord these days, relying on His word and leading, not the ramblings of so called "spiritual" people who spout heresy and belittle the Holy Spirit. I am not finger pointing, just giving my opinion and experience of hyper Pentecostalism. We are called to expose lies and deceit and for me i do not want my friends caught up in this so called Christianity, it will not save you, only Confession, Repentance and Belief in The Lord Jesus Christ will. God bless Rob, in Jesus name."
(Name and email address supplied)

Coming as it does from someone who was not only present but actually part of the Victory team on the very night that the "outpouring" broke out, this account is of incalculable importance in sounding an urgent warning. It not only affirms my own "outsider's" concerns about the Cwmbran extravaganza from an "insider's" perspective, but also mirrors my serious misgivings about the forthcoming 3-day event entitled "Revive" at Mr. Taylor's new power base in Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil, on 27-29 October.

PLEASE, PLEASE HEED THESE HEARTFELT WORDS, BORN OF EXCRUCIATING FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE OF CWMBRAN'S COUNTERFEIT OUTPOURING, AND KEEP YOURSELF SAFELY WELL AWAY FROM THE "STRANGE FIRE" BEING RE-KINDLED BY RICHARD TAYLOR AND HIS FELLOW RECKLESS INCENDIARIES AT NEW BEGINNINGS CHURCH!

IN CONCLUSION

It would be laughable if it wasn't so tragic. How bitterly ironic, that a man who in 2009 wrote a book called 'Authentic Christianity' was to be responsible just 4 years later for one of the most unauthentic examples of Christianity that Wales has ever been subjected to, the so-called "Welsh Outpouring" at Cwmbran. That book is subtitled 'The Real Deal With God,' but the "outpouring" was as much the real deal as the contents of a suitcase in the van of Trotter's Independent Trading Co., nothing but a cheap counterfeit, a noxious scent in a leaking forged bottle which if Trading Standards had anything to do with spiritual things, would have immediately been removed from the shelves of Babylonian Bargains and the dishonest trader taken to task.

Conditions are carefully created, through repetitive music and lighting arrangements in particular, to create heightened emotions and a heavy air of theatrical expectancy, ultimately causing an audience to enter an altered state of consciousness. In this way their analytical filters are shut down, and they are primed to ecstatically accept and act upon any powerful suggestion being tossed out to them from the platform by some silver-tongued charmer. An unquestioning herd mentality holds sway. This was the case at Cwmbran; it is a scenario being played out endlessly in auditoriums globally. And one thing we can be 100% sure of is that it is definitely not of God.

Friends, the moral standards of Christians are lower now than they've ever been, while at the same time their desire to elevate subjective experience above objective Bible-centred teaching is higher now than it's ever been. Who even mentions, or - perish the thought! - urges to holiness and sanctification any more, enthusing only of "the anointing" and "impartation?" Whose interests are being served by so lowering the bar? Only those who do not want to be raised to higher morality, only those who want their sensual itching ears tickled with words of sweet seduction and not be faced with the desperate depths of human depravity. If the Gospel being preached does not cut to the quick, rending the spirit, then it is a different, depthless, easy-believism gospel that is no gospel at all. Sleep-walking its way down the broad road that leads only to ultimate destruction, this is the kind of toothless tiger that the Church en masse is cuddling so closely. People everywhere are being bamboozled into believing that all is well with their soul and that their eternal destiny is secure, when that is simply not so. Is there any greater evil than this being done in the Lord's Name?

RICHARD TAYLOR AND NEW BEGINNINGS CHURCH IN MERTHYR TYDFIL ARE JUST LOCAL SYMPTOMS OF A VIRULENT CANCER THAT IS RELENTLESSLY SPREADING RIGHT THROUGH THE ENTIRE BODY OF CHRIST, A MALIGNANCY THAT FEW ARE PREPARED TO EVEN ACCEPT THE DIAGNOSIS OF, NEVER MIND HAVE THE GODLY WILLINGNESS TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT. IT IS THE TIME OF THE GREAT FALLING AWAY, A HARD-CORE END-TIMES APOSTASY, A CUT-PRICE COUNTERFEIT CHRISTIANITY THAT IS BEING HAILED BY THE CHEERING CHAFF AND THE TRUTH-TRASHING TARES AS GOD RESTORING HIS PEOPLE. FRIENDS, THE REVIVAL THESE PEOPLE SPEAK OF IS A REVIVAL ONLY OF BABYLON.

"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land,
not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD."
(Amos 8:11)

SOME THOUGHTS ON "THE WELSH OUTPOURING," 2 YEARS ON.

Wednesday, April 10th. 2013, marked the start of the so-called "Welsh Outpouring" at Victory Church in Cwmbran, at that time firmly under the (mis)leadership of Messrs. Richard Taylor and Andrew Parsons. Now, two years on, both have departed; one was pushed, the other jumped, and protege Kenny Brandie has also jumped, throwing in his lot with another grievous deception north of the Scottish border, namely "Apostle" Andrew Owen's Restorationist Destiny Church movement.

What of Richard Taylor and Andrew Parsons, who had prophesied to themselves that they would lead the greatest revival the world has ever known? The orchestrated "Welsh Outpouring" never went beyond Cwmbran, and rather than being the start of their great global revival, just fizzled out like a damp squib. Why? Because it was never of God in the first place. It was just another episode in the sad saga of the demonic Toronto Blessing-that-was-actually-a-curse, another manifestation of the same spirit behind other false "outpourings" like Lakeland and Pensacola. Not without significance, one of the main players in the Brownsville, Pensacola delusion was none other than Tommy Tenney, who just happened to be Richard Taylor's friend and mentor! But nobody wanted to join the dots. It was party time in Cwmbran, and nobody at Victory Church wanted anyone to rain on their parade!

Richard Taylor, the "Master Thief" of Channel 5 hype, was dismissed by Elim for sexual misconduct. Andrew Parsons remains in charge of the Victory Outreach UK charity, and continues to brazenly masquerade as a man of God with his 'Andrew Parsons Ministries.' He continues to blasphemously claim for himself the MESSIANIC prophecy of Psalm 2:8. Both these aberrant - and dare I say abhorrent - individuals have utterly failed to take on board the Scriptural warning:

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
(Galatians 6:7)

Taylor has already come badly unstuck. So too will Parsons. God is not mocked. Period. But Taylor's sexual misconduct did not suddenly happen out of the blue. It's a common enough pattern. If we look at other men of ministry who have also fallen in such a way, we see that their physical acts of unrighteousness are consequential to having already gone down the route of spiritual infidelity. As Jacob Prasch has so rightly taught concerning our armour, when the belt of truth is unbuckled, the breastplate of righteousness falls to the ground. When truth is pushed aside in favour of error, you're on a downward spiral to disaster. When flesh comes to the fore, you are no longer operating in the Spirit of God, but are subject to a false spirit. There are three great temptations: money, power and sex. Taylor fell at all three hurdles. Like the dog of 2 Peter 2:22 he returned to his vomit. It is a sad and sobering story that we would all do well to learn from. We are IN the world, but we are not OF the world. We are just sojourning here, having been purchased with a price.

Has Richard Taylor repented? Truly repented? Only the Lord knows the answer to that one. Is what he's most sorry about the fact that he got caught? I'm sure I don't know. Only God can judge a man's heart. But in noting the very real similarities between the "Welsh Outpouring" and Todd Bentley's "Lakeland Revival" I can only hope and pray that we don't witness a similar outcome. Bentley was officially "restored" to ministry (by other apostates, of course!) after sexual sin, and nothing has changed in essence. Sly Todd has continued happily and unhindered along his witch-doctor way, and is now deceiving Africa massively...

* * * * *

Taylor now has his own blog: http://www.pastorrichardtaylor.blogspot.co.uk/

I will make four observations about it:

1) His user name is 'pastorrichardtaylor.' He was sacked by Elim, thus forfeiting any right to call himself "Pastor" but he obviously hasn't accepted this fact. The foundation of any blog is its user name. And he has chosen what is frankly a lie and a deceit as his blog's foundation.

2) The blog is totally egocentric. It's all about him. And what is very worrying indeed is that he says he has NO REGRETS...

3) He actually has the audacity to have a "Donate" button (to him and his family) on the blog. This is the man who proudly drove a Porsche with personal plates, while residents of the VOUK hostels had to accept the basics of life and hand over almost all their State benefits. No surprise, then, to find that Taylor's a fan of "prosperity gospel" guru T. D. Jakes.

4) The very first blogpost, referring to the "Welsh Outpouring" (as a Revival!) perpetuates the deeply deceptive myth that it was a move of God.

People may draw their own conclusions.

* * * * *

And what of Victory Church? Well, they quietly dropped any reference to the supposed 50/10 church-planting vision, and - probably out of understandable embarrassment - chose to remain tight-lipped over the fact that those "campuses" that had been created saw a significant split, with the establishment of a breakaway Victory Alliance group of churches. Cwmbran never made any public announcement that Taylor had departed, never mind offering any apology for his unrighteous actions. The leadership was never prepared to address issues of concern, or answer any legitimate questions. I don't know what happened to the principle of being answerable to the wider Body...

They all revelled in their supposed outpouring/revival-that-wasn't, and despite all that has transpired they remain locked in denial. It would be nice to think that Victory Church has turned a corner, but I can't help but have my doubts that the corner has been completely and successfully negotiated. They really need to now exercise some long-overdue discernment, give ecumenism and false teachers like Tommy Tenney the elbow, face hard facts and demonstrate some accountability and a willingness to be honest and open. If, as the old saying goes, they don't learn from history, they are doomed to repeat it. Let's hope for the best. Only time will tell...

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat."

FALSE PASTOR RICHARD TAYLOR AND HIS "OUTPOURING" 1st. ANNIVERSARY ADDRESS - HYPOCRISY AND DECEIT IN ACTION!

The so-called "Welsh Outpouring" is now  one year old. And to commemorate this landmark occasion, false pastor Richard Taylor dutifully delivered his Anniversary Address to the worshipful (of him) company assembled at his Victory Campus - Latin for 'theatre' - in Cwmbran on 9th. April, 2014.

OK. I've listened to this "sermon" and what struck me most about it was the sheer, bare-faced HYPOCRISY of it all. Yes, his star-struck fan club lapped it all up as was to be expected, but no-one was more pleased with his performance than Mr. Richard Taylor himself, who laughed long and loud at his own spectacularly unfunny jokes in this dazzling showcase of his great talent. His great talent, that is, for misrepresenting and totally tarnishing the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. (Who, it seems, will have the exceedingly good fortune to have Richard Taylor at His side upon His Second Coming, as the "Master Thief" who gets a buzz out of teaching folks how to steal graciously exchanges his earthly Porsche for a heavenly white stallion...)

"Let me put the boot in just for a moment on a religious spirit, and I do not apologize!"" bellows the belligerent non-Reverend Taylor. (Sorry, fans, but his title given on Twitter as the Rev. Richard Taylor is absolutely bogus, as he has no such qualification!) To him, anyone who quite correctly and Scripturally questions the validity of a purported "move of the Holy Spirit" such as his "Outpouring" - or "Revival" as he now likes to refer to it - is a Pharisee with a "religious spirit." The incredible irony of his sneering put-down completely  eludes speaker and listener, for it was the abysmal failure of the Pharisees to practice what they preached that caused the Lord to so roundly condemn them. And I'm afraid the shocking failure to practice what he preaches, to live by example, is an utterly woeful and central deficiency in Mr. Taylor's own very contradictory and very questionable character.

With a voice of ominous thunder he delivers a message full of venom, arrogance, offence and merciless mockery, condemning those with God-given End-Times ministries as being "Christians of HATEMINISTRIES.COM" and again the supreme irony of this disgraceful denunciation is completely lost on his audience and his own "good" self! As he himself sticks the knife into anyone and everyone daring to discuss End-Times prophecy and who are looking for our Lord's return, calling such discussion pseudo-spiritual "RUBBISH," he actually condemns HIMSELF out of his own mouth by declaring that "religious people love to stick the knife in!" Oh, Mr. Taylor, please listen to your own words...

This jesting Janus speaks of love, and urges proper Christian care for those who are deemed to be "not nice" and "the wrong people in society" and so are not properly treated by many Christians. But as anyone who knows the terrible truth of the matter is all too aware, Mr. Taylor is here being a hypocrite of the highest order! No, make that the LOWEST order!

The man behind the mask...

RICHARD TAYLOR IS A MAN WHO CYNICALLY AND PERSISTENTLY ABUSES AND EXPLOITS VULNERABLE PEOPLE PLACED IN HIS CARE, USING THEM AS FREE LABOUR ON PROJECTS TO FURTHER HIS OWN PERSONAL AND "MINISTRY" INTERESTS! FAR FROM BEING LOVING AND CARING, HE IS ACTUALLY  A TOTALLY ALOOF AND SELF-OBSESSED TYRANT WHO TREATS HIS VICTORY OUTREACH RESIDENTS WITH COMPLETE CONTEMPT! I'M AFRAID THIS IS FACT, NOT FICTION, MY FRIENDS. AND THE SAME APPLIES TO HIS GREAT FRIEND AND ALLY, "EXECUTIVE PASTOR" PARSONS, WHOSE BULLYING METHODS OF CONTROL ARE WELL KNOWN AMONG THOSE ON THE RECEIVING END OF HIS NOTABLE UNGODLINESS.

I AM PERSONALLY HONOURED AND GRATEFUL TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GIVE, IN AT LEAST SOME SMALL MEASURE, A VOICE TO THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN DAMAGED, EXPLOITED AND MISTREATED BY THE TAYLOR/PARSONS REGIME. IT HAS INDEED BEEN MY PRIVILEGE TO HAVE BEEN ENTRUSTED WITH THE TESTIMONIES OF SUCH PEOPLE, AND I GIVE THEM MY HUMBLE THANKS FOR SUPPLYING INFORMATION IN THE FACE OF A VERY REAL FEAR OF RETALIATION.

MR. TAYLOR AND MR. PARSONS, HOW CAN SUCH A CLIMATE OF FEAR EXIST AMONG THOSE WHO HAVE COME INTO CONTACT WITH YOU IN THE HOSTELS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR? THE LOVE YOU PREACH ABOUT AND THE FEAR THESE PEOPLE EXPERIENCE ARE LIKE OIL AND WATER. THEY DON'T MIX. SOMETHING, GENTLEMEN, IS VERY SERIOUSLY WRONG HERE. AS IT IS WRITTEN, IN 1 JOHN 4:18, "THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE." YOU CAN FOOL FALLIBLE HUMANS, BUT YOU CANNOT FOOL AN OMNISCIENT GOD, AND THOUGH YOU MAY NOT BE PREPARED TO ANSWER ANY MAN'S QUESTIONS OF YOU, ONE DAY YOU WILL ASSUREDLY HAVE TO ANSWER TO YOUR CREATOR FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE TO BRING HIS HOLY NAME INTO DISREPUTE!

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
(Galatians 6:7)

"For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."
(Hebrews 10:30-31)

"REPENT YE: FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND."
(Matthew 3:2)

TAYLOR-MADE TO DECEIVE WALES AND THE WORLD AT LARGE! - THE GREAT "WELSH OUTPOURING" DELUSION, ONE YEAR ON.

"A time to weep... a time to mourn..."
(Ecclesiastes 3:4)

April 10th. 2013 was a sad, sad day for Christianity in Wales. It saw the birth of the so-called "Welsh Outpouring" at the Victory Church in Cwmbran. It started with the supposed healing of a man who got out of his wheelchair, that it transpired he had never been confined to in the first place! Last known Victory Church statement concerning this gentleman was that he was unavailable for interview, being under "pastoral care." (Don't give the game away, Mr. Haynes. Don't want egg all over your face, do you... and rotten egg at that...?)

To celebrate the first anniversary of the "Outpouring," Victory Church and their supporters will be partying heartily. Those of us who have not bought this shoddy counterfeit brand will be lamenting heavily, filled with consternation and dismay at the depth of damage being done to the true Faith by Richard Taylor and his bosom buddy Andrew Parsons as they build their empire, deliberately deaf to any voice that might dare to ask questions of them and their monstrous creation.

"I don't hear anything, Andrew! Do you?"

Their deafness and their wilful spiritual blindness they in turn impart to all and sundry who cannot - or will not - exercise wisdom and discernment, and "try the spirits" as is our Scriptural duty!

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."
(1 John 4:1)

Taylor's current position at Victory Church is Founding Pastor and Executive Elder. Parsons is both Executive Pastor AND Executive Elder. Anyone know what an Executive Pastor is? Or an Executive Elder? Lofty titles, full of self-aggrandizement, self-bestowed and having no real Christian meaning whatsoever. Personally, I can only assume that these positions/titles mean that this proud pair have the final say on everything. They are the apex of their self-built power pyramid. Victory is THEIRS! How does this line up with Scripture? Consider the Lord's own teaching on such matters, if you will:

"But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all."
(Mark 10:42-44)

Like all megalomaniacs, they crave an empire that they can rule over and adoring subjects that will put them on the pedestals they think they deserve. In their case, this egocentric goal manifests itself as "Mission 50/10." They boast that they have a God-given mandate to plant 50 churches across Wales in 10 years. (If the Lord was intending to return before that decade is up, I suppose He'll just have to hold fire until the mission is fulfilled!) Strange that the Lord should apparently have initiated this long-term strategy, when He Himself taught:

"Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
(Matthew 6:34)

If not tomorrow, what price ten years' time? It is really important to emphasize that all of these intended church plants (termed campuses!) are Victory "territories" which are not independent but intrinsically linked to - and accordingly answerable to - the seat of power: the "mother church" in Cwmbran. "One church, many locations" as their slogan would have it, with the self-appointed Taylor/Parsons regime firmly in control. We all know, or at least should know, the fate of the blind who follow the blind...

"Where's Dai going, then? Must be off to plant another Victory campus...!"

But now merely winning little old Wales for Richard Taylor - sorry, Jesus - is not enough. Victory is out to conquer the world! The Terrible Twosome have created yet another monster called Victory International Ministry (VIM) in a bid for global domination! (Seems that VIM essentially comprises of just 2 men... yes, you've guessed it!) And yes, it was launched in furtherance of another of their amazing "words" purporting to be from the Lord!
"In 2013 after hosting a national conference in Cardiff The Lord spoke to them from psalms 2:8 ‘Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession’ Today VIM is carrying an evangelistic anointing to the nations by hosting conferences, crusades, revival meetings and teaching materials to resource the body of Christ in reaching nations."
(Source: VIM)

If you really believe that God has given the nations to Taylor and Parsons for their inheritance, you no doubt also believe that  your molars have been given to the tooth fairy for her inheritance!
VIM... scouring the world for fresh victims to dupe!

Many and varied are the very real and grave concerns about Victory Church and its leadership, concerns which have been documented in detail on this blog and elsewhere. At the heart of the problem is the sad fact that men are following men, thinking those men are following God when they are actually cynically taking carefully calculated and highly questionable steps to self-fulfill a self-given "prophecy," that they would lead a revival "the likes of which the world has never seen before!" Please see:

FRIENDS, YOUR SOUL  IS MUCH TOO PRECIOUS TO BE ENTRUSTED TO THE GUIDANCE OF SUCH MEN AS THESE, MEN WHO HAVE PROVED THEMSELVES TO BE EMPHATICALLY
NOT
UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AS THEY WOULD HAVE YOU BELIEVE! AS GOD'S HOLY WORD BALDLY STATES:

"Thus saith the LORD, Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD."
(Jeremiah 17:5)

One question to Mr. Taylor personally:

Do you think your heart has NOT departed from the Lord, when you teach children how to successfully steal from their local convenience store, on a national television programme where neither the Lord nor your own faith are even once mentioned?

One question to Mr. Parsons personally:

Do you think your heart has NOT departed from the Lord, when you give "the right foot of fellowship" (your own words, sir!) to an existing Christian congregation in Merthyr Tydfil, as you take over what was their chapel and have the audacity to call it a church plant?

To you both, I address this most relevant of quotes:

"YOU CAN FOOL ALL THE PEOPLE SOME OF THE TIME, AND SOME OF THE PEOPLE ALL THE TIME, BUT YOU CANNOT FOOL ALL THE PEOPLE ALL THE TIME."
- Abraham Lincoln.

One question to all supporters of Messrs. Taylor and Parsons:

How can you support them, if you are a God-fearing and Bible-believing Christian?

To you all, I address this quote from "The Emperor's New Clothes" by Hans Christian Andersen:

"BUT HE ISN'T WEARING ANYTHING AT ALL!"
- a child who sees things as they really are.

"Oh dear! Have I been made a monkey of?"

If you think it perhaps inappropriate to quote from a "fairy
story," please consider this very appropriate quote from the Word of God:

"AND THEY SHALL TURN AWAY THEIR EARS FROM THE TRUTH, AND SHALL BE TURNED UNTO FABLES."
(2 Timothy 4:4)

THE "WELSH OUTPOURING" IS JUST SUCH A FABLE. ITS LEADERS? FANTASY-WEAVERS...

"... HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS, BUT DENYING THE POWER THEREOF: FROM SUCH TURN AWAY."
(2 Timothy 3:5)

THE "WELSH OUTPOURING" SLOWS TO A LIGHT WELSH DRIZZLE! - GOD IS GIVEN SATURDAY NIGHTS OFF BY VICTORY CHURCH!

Looks like God is going to have His Saturday nights free again from now on, as He no longer has to make the trek to Cwmbran. Richard Taylor had asserted of the so-called "Welsh Outpouring" that God had told them that He would show up if the people showed up. Well, the people are no longer going to be putting in an appearance at Victory Church on a Saturday, so God obviously no longer has to put in an appearance either! It must come as a great relief to Him to know that after the exhausting commitment of the last few months, He's now only obliged to turn up on a Wednesday, as His people are so drained by their time of refreshing (!) that they can now only drag themselves there for a single mid-week "Holy Spirit" top-up!

The following appeared yesterday on Victory's Facebook page:

Important Announcement:

This Saturday will be our last Outpouring meeting on a Saturday night. The Holy Spirit continues to lead us as a leadership, and we are excited to be taking the outpouring on the road to major cities and other countries. Pastor Richard and Pastor Andrew will be leading this forward along with a team of people from Victory Church. More news to follow on this very soon!

We are still seeing many people get saved and healed, we have crossed the 1650 mark for Salvations and over 300 reported healings. We have always had a mission to reach our nation, so we must respond by multiplying and planting more!

In order to continue to facilitate what God wants to do through us as a church and for us to achieve our mission of planting 50 churches in ten years, we will be meeting on Wednesday nights only for Outpouring meetings in Cwmbran. This allows all of us to carry what God has done and is doing, into other areas, continuously planting churches, multiplying cluster groups and continuing to allow Jesus to take our churches from strength to strength!

We are really expectant and excited because we know as we follow the God's leading, He will continue to build and extend this ministry for His glory.

We have a packed Christmas programme and also our Sunday evening service in Cwmbran is growing quickly so come along and be blessed!!

Of course, the customary "spin" and boastfulness abounds in Victory's announcement. The plain truth of the matter is obviously that not enough leaders are being raised up to handle the demands imposed by their mission to reach Wales with 50 church plants in 10 years! That woeful deficiency should be telling them something, if only they were prepared to listen!

Taking the "Outpouring" on the road? That's one seriously

recklessly-driven juggernaut to keep a VERY wide berth of!

"But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse,

deceiving, and being deceived."

(2 Timothy 3:13)
