HEALING ROOMS ENGLAND AND WALES 2019 CONFERENCE ON 12th/13th APRIL - CAL PIERCE, BETHEL REDDING AND THE NAR.

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God."
(1 John 4:1)

ALL ROADS LEAD TO REDDING

On 12th/13th April, Healing Rooms England and Wales will be holding their 2019 Conference in Congleton, Cheshire, reporting that "We are excited to have Carrie Lloyd, from Bethel Church, Redding, California, as our speaker for this conference." Their blurb further informs us that Ms. Lloyd studied at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, has worked closely with Bethel's Senior Leader, Bill Johnson, and currently coaches pastors from the Bethel Leaders Network across the USA for Global Legacy, which is "Bethel Church's relational network of revival leaders" as it bills itself. We might note that Paul Manwaring, founder of Global Legacy and a member of the Senior Leadership Team at Bethel before returning to his native UK in 2016 to represent their interests in Europe, was the speaker at the 2018 conference, when a team from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry also participated.

While Ms. Lloyd is the main conference speaker, their Friday Night speaker is one Pete Carter, who leads Eastgate Church in Kent, which very revealingly has this to say of itself:

"Since 2007 we have had a close relationship with Bethel Church in Redding, California, and this has developed to the point where we are now one of the UK hubs for Global Legacy."

Given this revelation, it shouldn't raise any eyebrows to find that Carter's church has also since 2008 run the Eastgate School of Spiritual Life, unsurprisingly declared to be inspired by Bethel's similar School (of Supernatural Ministry) - which as noted Ms. Lloyd attended. Significantly, Eastgate "are also exploring ways for Bethel students and graduates to be connected when they return to the UK." (Source as above). The unBiblical "inner healing" of Bethel Sozo is also practiced at Eastgate's Transformation Centre, and we might also well note that its Healing Centre holds to the heresy that physical healing was in the Atonement, a false hyper-Charismatic teaching also promoted as it happens by Cal Pierce, the founder of the Spokane-based International Association of Healing Rooms.

For any discerning Christian, all this information highlighting the conference speakers' backgrounds, allegiances, influences and agendas should immediately set alarm bells ringing very loudly in their spirit! Bill and wife Beni Johnson's Bethel Redding is as synonymous with apostasy as Chernobyl is with nuclear disaster - and the fallout of both can be properly pronounced as being equally toxic, the one in the spiritual realm and the other in the natural! I've said it before and I'll say it again concerning the Johnsons and their seat of power:

This has to be one of the unsafest "Christian" couples on the planet, their "Christianity" having all the authenticity of a paste diamond, with Bethel having far more in common with sorcery and New Age mystical spirituality than with Biblical Christianity. From gold dust to glory clouds, from falling feathers to fire tunnels, from floating orbs to a born-again "Jesus," from waking up sleeping angels to grave-sucking necromancy, absolutely anything goes at Bethel under the Johnsons' (mis)leadership.

CAL PIERCE AND SPOKANE SPOOKERY

Healing Rooms England and Wales (there are currently two such affiliated Rooms here in Wales, in Cardiff and Cardigan) is an integral part of the International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR), which is based in Spokane, Washington State, USA. As noted above, it was founded by Cal Pierce, who originates from - yes, you've guessed it - Redding, California! And yes, he just happens to have been an elder and director of Bethel before moving to Spokane in 1997.

Visiting the grave of Spokane-based faith healer John G. Lake many times (very reminiscent of Benny Hinn's necromantic visits to the grave of Kathryn Kuhlman), these pilgrimages culminated on February 28, 1999, when as he testifies on his website, "I started a 40 day fast. I went to Lake's grave site to pray when I heard God say, 'There is a time to pray, and a time to move.' There was no doubt that God wanted us to re-dig the generational wells of healing in Spokane." On July 22 that same year, John G. Lake's Healing Rooms were re-opened on the same site, some 80 years after their doors had been closed by him.

No less than five very worrying things we might note here! 1) Pierce's veneration of a man, and his (actually highly suspect) ministry. 2) His belief in the spiritual efficacy of that man's burial site. 3) His statement that he heard God speak, though there is no confirmatory witness to this. 4) His belief in God's attachment to particular geographical locations to manifest His grace. 5) His conviction that "generational wells" in such places could and should be re-dug.

Let us carefully observe that, 1) We are to revere Christ alone, not men. 2) Only decaying flesh and bones are to be found in graves, and no residue whatsoever of a person's spirit or their (supposed) "anointing" lingers on. 3) The claim of one man is Scripturally invalid, for it is at the mouth of two or three witnesses that a matter is established. (Ref. Deuteronomy 19:15, Matthew 18:16). 4) God is omnipresent, and can and does manifest His grace in absolutely anywhere of his choosing. 5) "Re-digging" is looking backwards to what has been, when we are meant to be focused on what is ahead, not on what is behind: God designed us with our eyes in the front of our heads, not the back, for very good reason!

So, what of this "generational well" that Pierce was so motivated to wield his spiritual shovel to excavate anew? Who was his late great hero John G. Lake exactly, and how did he come to set up as a faith healer in the first place? These are questions of vital relevance in ascertaining if the "well" at Spokane contained pure or polluted water.

JOHN G. LAKE, JOHN ALEXANDER DOWIE, AND FAITH HEALING FALSEHOOD

It is critically important to emphasize that just as Lake was central to Pierce's vision, so was the Scottish-born faith healer John Alexander Dowie central to Lake's. So let's first take a little look at said Dowie. Who was he? Well, in a nutshell, a very shady character indeed! The Benny Hinn of his time, one might say, with quite some justification!

Always on the move, even from continent to continent, scandal and legal action followed Dowie wherever he went. He'd arrived in America in 1888 after his church in Australia burned down in suspicious circumstances, allowing him to pay off heavy debts. Setting himself up as a faith healer in San Francisco, his International Divine Healing Association operated on the basis of members tithing and thus making themselves eligible to request a healing from him. Income derived in this way was supplemented through buying and selling bankrupt companies' securities, this dodgy dealing resulting in him being successfully sued by women he'd defrauded. After this unsavoury episode, he headquartered himself in Chicago, his Healing Association morphing into his Christian Catholic Church, later re-branded as the Christian Catholic Apostolic Church.

His claims were as great as they were questionable; he was adept at "curing" psychosomatic illnesses and staging dramatic healings, notably when placing himself strategically adjacent to the World Fair of 1893. Just like Hinn and his ilk today, his "ministry" was a magnet drawing many gullible followers (and their wallets), so much so that in 1900 he was able to found a city to the north of Chicago which he named Zion, where he personally owned absolutely all the residents' houses and the businesses, which significantly included the bank! All residents tithed, with the monies going into this bank; amassing a vast fortune, Dowie lived a life of unashamed and unrestrained luxury. "The Prosperity Gospel" may be older than we think!

Dowie, an antecedent of the contemporary New Apostolic Reformation's pirate crew , believed in the "restoration" of apostolic governance to the Church, and actually proclaimed himself to be Elijah, preparing the way for the return of the Lord, and even sported attire in keeping with this most disturbing of delusions, as illustrated below.

Dowie as "Elijah"- Portrait of a false prophet!

Jerusalem in Israel - and reality, for that matter - had no place in Dowie's warped eschatology. His Zion in Illinois was destined to be the seat of Messianic rule after the Second Coming, "the starting point of the restoration, the city from which God would personally direct the affairs of his kingdom."

Dowie obviously had a far greater belief in himself and his wild pronouncements than in the Word of God! Having suffered a stroke in 1905, he died two years later, having been deposed from his Zion throne by his Number Two, with some millions of dollars apparently being unaccounted for!

So much, then, for Lake's hollow hero. Was Lake himself any sounder?

When Ken Copeland and others of the Word of Faith wolf-pack proclaim that we are "little gods," where do you suppose that crass claim originated? The answer is John G. Lake. The deification of man, man as an incarnation of God, man being equal to God... where do you think such lies were dreamed up? In the imagination of said Ken Copeland? Actually, it was in the mind of John G. Lake. Who taught that the Church would establish the Kingdom on earth PRIOR to Christ's return? C. Peter Wagner? Yes - but who taught it before he did? John G. Lake. Who believes that you can communicate with the dead? Any medium you care to mention? Yes, but a man who also believed this was John G. Lake. Who claimed experience of astral travel? NAR prophetess Kathie Walters, when she rode pillion through the sky on Jesus's golden motorbike? Yes - but a man who also claimed out-of-body sky travel was John G. Lake.

Who believed that a newspaper could be filled with the Holy Spirit and sent to effect an impartation? John G. Lake. Who advertised the visit of an Arab healer to his church, that in the event turned out to be... a costumed John G. Lake? Who got arrested for impersonating a Police officer? John G. Lake. Who got arrested, charged, and then settled out of court for defrauding folks in his congregation? John G. Lake. Who was arrested and fined after someone he failed to heal consequently died through neglect? You've guessed it - John G. Lake.

The catalogue of his disturbing proclivities and proclamations, his unsubstantiated grandiose claims and cavalier lawlessness goes on and on. Sadly, it has to be concluded that John G. Lake was every bit as unsound in doctrine, and every bit as suspect in moral rectitude, as the man he once studied healing under at Zion, IIIinois: John Alexander Dowie. So now, we must ask, is Cal Pierce any sounder?

HEALING ROOMS: A NEW APOSTOLIC REFORMATION POWERHOUSE

One of the most insidious movements in what passes for the Church today is the New Apostolic Reformation. A real giveaway as to the corrosive NAR credentials of Cal Pierce's operation is its 'Ministry Links' grouping, listing such Dominionist front-runners as Kris Vallotton, Chuck Pierce, Cindy Jacobs, Bobby Conners, Jim Goll, Patricia King and Randy Clark. Naturally, Bethel itself is a prominent link; of a truth, the (bad) apple does not fall far from the tree.

Furthermore, the IAHR runs a 'Global Network' that an individual or organization can join, for a fee naturally. Throwing in your lot with this "Apostolic and Prophetic (i.e. NAR) Network" will apparently empower you with "everything you need to become proficient in the supernatural realms of God in every sphere of life." Wow! (Can't see anything about a money back guarantee, though!) Registering your organization allows you to download the Healing Rooms School of Transformation package - usually a mere $300 - which will include an education on "giving and receiving encouragement through participation to the seven major institutions that influence society (a.k.a. the Seven Mountains of Society)." Anyone who's researched the New Apostolic Reformation will know that this concept of the Seven Mountains is a central plank of the Dominionists' worldview, and their strategy for complete societal takeover and the establishment of the Kingdom by the "Church" PRIOR to Christ's return. Teachers of this school? Well, they include Pierce of course, Bill Johnson of course, Kris Vallotton of course...

Before leaving the subject of the IAHR Global Network, it's more than relevant to note that when an individual registers and pays the full year's subscription up front, not only will they get 30% off the monthly rate but they can then claim a free copy of 'The Passion Translation.' Note well, this is not a translation, but a re-writing of the Word conducted by the NAR's Brian Simmons, who in this mauling of the original text promotes the tenets of Dominionism. Simmons actually claims that Jesus literally visited him in 2009 and commissioned him to pen this new translation-that-isn't of the Bible. Breathing on him, Jesus supposedly thereby gave him "the spirit of revelation" and he felt "downloads" coming instantly.

Simmons has also related an out-of-body experience (just as Lake did), in which he was taken to a library in Heaven and told he could take any two books he fancied. After selecting the two books to take home with him - it would be really interesting to see these books from the 'Library of Heaven' but I don't think anybody has! - he saw a third volume he wanted. Its title was 'John 22' - very intriguing, as the Gospel of John has only 21 chapters! This book he was not allowed to take - Simmons had actually thought of stealing it! - as Jesus told him that he wasn't ready for it yet, but promised to one day bring him back and give it to him. Let's say it as it is. The author of 'The Passion Translation' is either an imaginative liar or, like Cal Pierce and the Energy Angel, the tale of which follows in the next section, just maybe he has been communing with unclean spirits?

If anyone should in any way doubt Cal Pierce's own thoroughly Dominionist, NAR mindset, we only have to check out what he wrote on 28 February 2017, in an article entitled 'The New Church Wineskin' for proof positive of this:

"For the manifold Wisdom of God to be made known to the rulers of this age in heavenly places, according to Ephesians 3:9-13, we will have to see the Church as five-fold. The old wineskin sees the Church as a congregation of people meeting on Sunday with a pastor leading. The Church has a Pastor, but also must include Apostles, Prophets, Teachers and Evangelists. It cannot reach a measure of stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ if it is not five-fold. (Ephesians 4:11-13)

It is the responsibility of Apostles and Prophets to lay the foundation of the five-fold into the church with Jesus as the cornerstone. The household of God cannot be built into its full stature without this. With the prophetic we hear and with the apostolic we do. The government of God must be set in by people who can hear what God is saying to the Church and then bring it about. In 1 Corinthians 12:28 it tells us God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then gifts of healing, helps, administrations and various kinds of tongues. God appoints apostles and prophets in the Church to lay a Kingdom foundation for the Church to build upon. When Apostles and prophets take their place in the Church, they will become a benefit to pastors, until then they are looked at as a threat.

The new wineskin Church will embrace apostles and prophets and then fulfill God's mandate to establish His Kingdom on earth and in cities, as it is in Heaven."

Pierce here presents an undiluted, (im)pure NAR Dominionist manifesto if ever there was one! In reality, of course, these 21st century "apostles and prophets" are not God-appointed at all, but self-appointed and mutually back-scratching members of a ruling class, an elite band who consider that they hear what lesser Christians do not. (Despite us all having equal access to the Spirit and complete equality in Christ!) If perceived as a threat, then that is quite correctly discerned, for a great threat to the Faith once delivered these deluded people most certainly are!

Friends, the foundation has already been long laid down by Christ Himself, and His true Apostles who were all eyewitnesses of His resurrection. And moreover, His Kingdom is established by no human agency, but by Him alone! Cal Pierce recently wrote:

"New things must come from the Lord that will give us the power
to destroy the work of the enemy."

How ironic, when he himself is furthering the Enemy's agenda! And how little is his understanding, that he thinks flesh and blood will triumph over Satan, when that victory is Christ's and His exclusively!

CAL PIERCE, THE ENERGY ANGEL AND THE WATER CAR

To illustrate the delusional world of Cal Pierce, we need look no further than his account of a personal angelic visitation in chapter 9 of the book, 'The Physics of Heaven' (which just happens to include contributions from Bill and Beni Johnson, with a foreword by Kris Vallotton - the 3 top dogs at Bethel!)

One day, at a NAR meeting, Pierce apparently looked up to see an angel standing in front of him, introducing himself as the Energy Angel, sent by God to answer his question about the energy crisis which he'd been seeking Him about. Accompanying Pierce back to his hotel room, the angel informed him that continuing to use the earth's resources would pollute the environment and those resources would all be used up; we needed instead to draw resources from above. He then announced that he would show Pierce the water car, promptly leaving and then returning with a scroll, on which was a blueprint of this water car. Informing him that he was an engineer, the angel advised Pierce that he would show him how water and light can produce energy, and Pierce would over time get more information about the water car, though in the story's conclusion Pierce contradicts himself somewhat by declaring that the angel was about to reveal how power could be produced with sound, and vehicles would literally be driven by sound, which would provide the planet's energy.

Oh dear. Only in America, as the saying goes. Only in America, where the car is king, would the Creator show such a keen interest in the bright green future of the automobile. But while the earth's resources continue to be depleted, it looks like Pierce is sadly still awaiting the Energy Angel's revelation as to how exactly his water cars would be powered by sound; while America's motor moguls undoubtedly hold their breath, it seems that the blueprint has been put on indefinite hold. Perhaps the right sound has not yet been vibrated? Could Beni Johnson's legendary 528 hz prophetic tuning fork be of any assistance?

Only a Bible DISbelieving Dominionist would worry about the planet's resources being exhausted. God certainly has no such concerns that He needs to appoint an Energy Angel to design a water car! (And doesn't basic logic tell us that if the earth's ores are all used up, where's the metal coming from to make these cars? And what about the concrete and tarmac for the roads for them to run on?) Friends, God is to one day gloriously RE-CREATE the heavens and the earth (Ref. Isaiah 65:17, 2 Peter 3:7-13, Revelation 21:1), and we can have infinitely greater trust in His Word than Cal Pierce's fabulous utterances! We can only realistically surmise by this surreal story of his that if Pierce was indeed visited by an angel, it could only have been one of the fallen kind! As it is written, concerning such a man as this and those who would foolishly follow him:

"And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."
(2 Timothy 4:4)

And again, as one of the TRUE Apostles averred of their TRUE calling:

"For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty."
(2 Peter 1:16)

CONCLUSION

There is so, so much more that could be said; I'd urge anyone who happens upon this article to do their own research into these things, and above all test everything against Scripture, and the whole counsel of God at that.

A false spirit governs Cal Pierce's International Association of Healing Rooms, this being passed down - from impartation to impartation, via the laying on of hands - from Spokane into Healing Rooms anywhere and everywhere in the world. I'd ask of the supporters and users of Healing Rooms, do you really think that any and every healing experience must be of God? Do you not perceive that Satan can impart a counterfeit healing, to make himself as God (Ref. Isaiah 14:14) and to have people believe that the presence and working of an unclean spirit is that of the Holy Spirit, and so undermine our Faith? Of a surety, we are to test the spirits, using God-given wisdom and discernment to distinguish between that which is right and that which is wrong! Consider. Are dedicated rooms for healing anywhere referenced in Scripture? Nope. We are encouraged to pray for the sick, most certainly, but the location is completely immaterial.

There is no question that the International Association of Healing Rooms is a major organ of the New Apostolic Reformation, a twin sister of Bethel Redding and bursting with her deadly spiritual bacteria. It is at the forefront of the great End-Times Falling Away, the demolition of the Faith once delivered and its relentless replacement with an alternative "Christianity" with an utterly unBiblical eschatology. Founded on falsehood, fuelled with fantasy, and under a cloak of apparent righteousness being instrumental in bringing spiritual sickness rather than physical health, the Healing Rooms movement is a global deception that is as deep as it is dangerous! AVOID!

"There is a way that seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death."
(Proverbs 16:25)
